Welcome to St Meddan’s Parish Church

Worship is at the heart of our life here and our weekly services are relaxed and suitable for all ages.

Whether you have recently moved to Troon, are on holiday or are looking to establish/re-establish church connections we would be delighted to welcome you into our family for Sunday Worship to hear God’s Word and experience and learn more of his love for us all.

We are a warm friendly congregation and you will feel at home in God’s house as soon as you are greeted at the door by our Welcome Team.

Our Sunday Service at 10.30am is attended by around 200. It is led by the Minister with support from members of the congregation. There is a mix of traditional and modern worship supported by the use of visual aids for the hymns, bible readings and the children’s address.

We have an active Junior Church which the children go to part way through the service and a crèche facility is available throughout the service.

After the service why not join us for a cup of tea or coffee and the opportunity for a chat?

We have many organisations which meet in the Church Halls during the week involving our congregation and the wider community.

As part of Troon Churches Together we enjoy working with other Churches in the town for Joint initiatives.

What’s on this Sunday?

This coming Sunday, October 26th, we are having a special all age Harvest service here at St. Meddan’s. This service will include an collection for our chosen charity of 2014, Mary’s Meals, along with songs, drama and a look at the reason for harvest celebrations. The service also includes the dedication of our Girl’s Brigade group. There will be creche facilities for babies and toddlers during the service, but the other children’s group will stay with us for this special service.
