St Meddans Parish Church is a thriving, relaxed Presbyterian Church situated in the Clyde Coast resort of Troon, some 30 miles south west of Glasgow. Troon is a traditional seaside town, but with that little bit extra. Our beaches have long been popular with visitors old and young, with families, and recently with an ever increasing number of wind sport enthusiasts. So whether going for a paddle or just having a picnic, Troon's beaches await you.

Troon is renowned for its Golf Courses and regularly hosts the British Open Golf Championship.

Our Minister, Rev David L Harper, came to St. Meddan’s in 1979 after 7 years in his first charge at Erskine. He enjoys golf, hill-walking and generally likes to keep fit. He is enthusiastic about worship and his enthusiasm has a habit of rubbing off!!

We enjoy relaxed, All Age worship with lively participation from many groups such as Praisemor, Church Choir and our newly formed Worship Group. We have also introduced Sunday Readers and committee members not only giving ideas for prayer topics but also delivering the prayer themselves.
